Extensions
The packages you brought, and what each costs the profiles carrying it.
What the screen shows
A list of packages with filters for all, from the store, signed by you and probeable. A search over the packages, and an Add a package button.
- Package
- The name and icon, read from the package’s manifest.
- Version
- Also from the manifest. For a package added by link, the name and version arrive with the package itself.
- Origin
- From the store, or signed by you. An extension signed by you exists nowhere else, and the screen is the first to say so.
- Probeable
- The files of the package a page can ask for. The count is on the row; no files means there is nothing to ask for.
- Profiles
- How many profiles carry the package. The number is stated before the assignment, not after.
What you do here
Add a package
Drop a packed extension or an unpacked folder on the screen, or choose the file; a store package is added by the link to its page, and the id is the tail of it. Adding installs nothing and puts the package on no profile.
Assign to profiles
The question is which profiles carry the package, and the answer is a list. Profiles carrying the same package answer the same probe the same way; how many there would be is shown before you confirm.
Remove
Removing a package here removes it from every profile carrying it. Whatever the extension wrote inside a profile stays where it is.
What is not here
We push nobody else’s extensions through a channel of our own, wallets included. What you bring is what runs: signed by you, existing nowhere else.
