Proxies

Endpoints are kept once and assigned to profiles, so the fan-out on one exit is stated before the assignment, not discovered after it.

What the screen shows

A list of endpoints with the filters All, In use, Unused and Authenticated, a search over the endpoints, and a profile count on every row.

Claimed exit
The country read off the hostname, or the one you stated. A claim about the endpoint, not a measurement.
Endpoint
Label, scheme, host and port. An address is stored once, however many profiles go out through it.
Credentials
IP-authorised or by login. For an endpoint that authorises this machine’s address, the username stays empty.
Rotation
Sticky, rotating or not stated. If the supplier never said, the screen says so.
Profiles
How many profiles already go out through the endpoint. Many on a sticky address and many on a rotating one are different things, and the count alone cannot tell them apart.

What you do here

  1. Add an endpoint

A form with host, port, scheme and username, or a paste of many, one endpoint per line. What you paste appears on the screen before anything is added.

  2. State the rotation

Until the endpoint says whether it rotates, it cannot be assigned. The screen asks for this first.

  3. Assign to profiles

The Assign to profiles button opens the list, and the count says how many profiles would sit behind this address before you confirm, not after.

  4. The check against the profile

If the endpoint declares an exit, assigning it to a profile checks the country and clock the profile claims against it, and a contradiction is refused. The profile’s clock is fixed for its life and is never moved to match a proxy: you change the proxy, not the profile.

Direct means this machine’s own address, and every profile set to it shares that one exit.
